Karla Munoz, PA-C, a board-certified physician assistant, is passionate about skin cancer prevention and aesthetic medicine. She creates comprehensive treatment plans to achieve optimal results and desired outcomes where patients are an active part of their care.

Karla, a long-time resident of Phoenix, AZ, is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a rich background in dermatology. She has a warm, compassionate bedside manner and is highly skilled in dermatology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology with a minor in Spanish from The University of Arizona and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Northern Arizona University.

Karla’s journey in healthcare began at a nonprofit clinic in Tucson, where she volunteered and honed her dermatological skills under the mentorship of an experienced dermatologist, serving the underserved community. She further specialized in clinical and procedural dermatology during her graduate studies. Dr. Price took special care to ensure she found a candidate with Skin Science’s mission and values. Passionate about skin cancer prevention and aesthetic medicine. Karla is committed to delivering patient-centered care.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and spending quality time with her husband, friends, family, and their fur baby, Arnie.
